Hi, I'm Josh Silverberg

I am currently a software engineer at Bloomberg LP in NYC, working on distributed, low-latency, high-throughput financial data pipelines.

I graduated Summa cum Laude from the University of Michigan with degree in Computer Science and a minor in Mathematics. I spent my time at UM focusing on machine learning, through taking enough graduate-level ML classes to fulfil the masters ML requirement, through research under Dr. Paramveer Dhillon, and through my membership and time as president of the 200+ member Michigan Data Science Team.

In my free time, I play ice hockey as a goalie in NYC men's leagues, I shred on the electric guitar, and I try to travel as much as I can, especially back to Slovakia where I grew up.
